From the Italian for a “thousand flowers,” this unique series is comprised of a variety of works. Components of the Mille Fiori series resemble organic shapes such as the antherium or fern, or the intuitive resemblance of a heron’s lengthy body or the foot of a frog. They are sometimes arranged in single elements or grouped together with as many as twelve installations. Combined, these installations truly create a mystical garden of glass.
A companion DVD accompanies each book that includes artist commentary discussing the history of each series, all approximately 15 minutes in running time.
